Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Davdio Branko (ranked 1590 p4p, 1947 weight class) and Batang Kock (ranked 98 p4p, 120 weight class). Kock has chosen I will axe kick you, and I am not careful. as his entrance music. Davdio Branko is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Batang Kock! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Branko drives through with a takedown into Kock's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kock looking to control.
Branko tries to free his leg and advance position but Kock is retaining full guard. Branko trying to move into half guard but instead Kock has managed to sweep!
Branko looking for a guillotine here but Kock defends easily.
Kock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Branko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kock has managed to get both his arms back between Branko's legs - danger averted. Branko has his foot on Kock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kock works his way back into a safe position though. Kock is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Branko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kock manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Branko can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kock controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kock won't allow Branko to sweep him here. Kock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Branko has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kock's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Branko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Branko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kock defends it easily. Branko looking for a guillotine here but Kock defends easily.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Branko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kock slips nicely into half guard. Kock passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Branko! Branko tries to reverse the position but Kock maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kock takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Branko is trying desperately to improve position. Kock sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Branko is desperately trying to improve his position but Kock has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kock controlling from the full mount. Branko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Branko is squirming around, avoiding Kock's attempts to control the action. Branko sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Branko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Branko is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kock pulls his head out easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kock prevents Branko from improving his position. Kock passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Branko! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Batang Kock will probably get the nod. That's time! Branko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Kock goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Branko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kock's half guard. Branko is working for a kimura but Kock is defending it quite comfortably.
Kock felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Branko seems to be working for a kimura but Kock defends the submission attempt. Kock wants to control but Branko is keeping busy.

Branko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kock gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Branko can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kock controls the pace. Branko has a loose triangle. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Branko looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kock passes the guard and advances to mount! Branko is desperately trying to improve his position but Kock has a good base and remains in mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kock tries to control but Branko wriggling away. Kock controlling the position easily from mount. Branko is looking to get to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Batang Kock will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Branko with a lazy takedown attempt and Kock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Branko slips a jab from Kock. Branko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kock swivels and escapes. Branko doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Davdio Branko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kock just misses with a punch to the body.
No luck for Branko with that takedown attempt. Branko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kock is fending him off so far but Branko persists. Nope, Kock circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kock lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Branko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Branko wants to clinch. Kock throws a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kock jabs Branko to the body, keeping him at a distance. Branko darts in looking for a takedown but Kock gets double underhooks and turns Branko into the cage. Kock has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Branko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kock pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kock unleashes a big counter combination but Branko bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Branko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A nice leg kick lands there from Kock.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kock dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Branko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Batang Kock seems to be getting the better of the standup. Branko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Branko somewhat. Kock scores with a body shot.
A low kick lands for Kock.
Branko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kock sprawls well. Kock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Branko gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Branko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kock throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Branko. Kock misses with a head kick.
Branko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kock circles away. Kock throws a body punch but Branko moves out of range. Branko drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kock sprawls and moves away. Batang Kock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Branko tries to close the distance and clinch but Kock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kock looks like he wants to counter punch here. Branko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kock avoids it really well and circles away. Branko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Branko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Branko is trying to pull guard but Kock has him pressed against the cage. Kock scores with a shoulder strike. Kock displaying some good clinch control by pressing Branko up against the cage. Branko is trying to drag Kock to the mat but Kock just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Branko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kock pulls him back up using the underhooks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Branko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kock gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kock breaks the clinch.
Davdio Branko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kock tries to bum rush Branko with a series of wild strikes but Branko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that's the end of the fight! Batang Kock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Batang Kock! Batang Kock spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
