Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Tucker (ranked 85 p4p, 264 weight class) and Devonte Pinks (ranked 13 p4p, 41 weight class). Tucker comes into the arena with Faith of The Heart blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pinks's choice of entrance music: HUMBLE.. Charles Tucker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Tucker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devonte Pinks!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker misses with a body shot.
Tucker tries to clinch up but Pinks circles away and keeps his distance.
Tucker misses with an uppercut.
Pinks avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pinks has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pinks connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Tucker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The House Of Pain in the buildup to the fight.
Pinks with a nice cross.
Tucker misses with a left hand
enabling Pinks to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice defenses there by Pinks.
Charles Tucker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tucker clobbers Pinks with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tucker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pinks dips to his left and cracks Tucker with an uppercut!
Tucker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pinks is able to avoid easily.
Tucker throws a right and a left that Pinks avoids nicely.
Pinks is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tucker.

Pinks lands a slapping body shot.
Pinks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tucker.
Pinks is looking to slow Tucker down with leg kicks.
Pinks throws a solid leg kick but Tucker takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pinks.
Pinks has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tucker.
Pinks throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Tucker connects with a body shot that sends Pinks's belly button to the back.
Pinks lands with a good body shot.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Tucker. Pinks shrugs it off though.
Tucker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And Pinks responds with a good body kick, but Tucker manages to step out the way in time.
Pinks throws a leg kick but Tucker checks it.
Tucker throws a lazy right hand but Pinks sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tucker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pinks counters with a stiff right hand.
Tucker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tucker tries to bum rush Pinks with a series of wild strikes but Pinks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pinks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pinks's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tucker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pinks scrambles back to his feet.
Tucker swings for the body but Pinks moves out of range.
Tucker throws a jab but it's blocked by Pinks.
Tucker misses with a lunging right hand
and Pinks counters with a nice uppercut.
Tucker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pinks now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Pinks ducks under a wild hook from Tucker.
Tucker throws a lazy uppercut
and Tucker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tucker tries to close the distance and clinch but Pinks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pinks misses with an uppercut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pinks cracks Tucker with an open hand slap.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tucker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pinks swings for the body but Tucker moves out of range.
Tucker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pinks.
Pinks walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tucker checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Tucker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Some bone on bone action there as Tucker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Pinks takes a swing at Tucker's ribcage but misses.
Pinks throws a body shot but no joy.
Pinks misses with a hook.
Tucker is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pinks.
Tucker tries to clinch up but Pinks circles away and keeps his distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tucker misses the shot to the body.
A countering left hand to the body from Pinks misses.
Pinks is looking to slow Tucker down with leg kicks.
Pinks throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tucker on the side of the head.
Pinks scores with the left hand. Tucker knows he should have avoided that one.
Tucker throws a body punch but Pinks moves out of range.
Pinks throws a big shot that misses.
Tucker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tucker takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pinks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tucker.
Tucker misses with a combination
letting Pinks counter with a right hand.
Tucker looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Tucker darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Devonte Pinks dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Pinks throws a low kick but Tucker moves out of range easily.
Tucker throws an off balance right hand
and Pinks counters with a nice uppercut.
Tucker moves out of range of the strikes.
Tucker tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Pinks manages to circle out of the way.
A bone on bone clash there as Pinks blocks the leg kick.
Tucker tries to clinch up but Pinks circles away and keeps his distance.
A big left from Pinks misses.
Pinks moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pinks throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pinks takes one on the button.

Tucker misses with a body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Pinks misses the target.
Pinks throws a leg kick which misses Tucker's front leg but catches the back leg as Tucker tries to avoid it.
Tucker lands an overhand right.

Tucker misses the shot to the body.
Pinks takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Tucker wants to clinch.
Pinks appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Tucker might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Pinks misses with a hook
and Tucker counters with a straight right hand.
Pinks keeps the fight on the outside.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tucker. Pinks does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tucker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tucker cracks Pinks with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pinks in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Tucker feints a jab promting Pinks to slip. Tucker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pinks slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Pinks is rocked!
Tucker cracks Pinks with a hook to the temple - Pinks is on wobbly legs here! Tucker swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Pinks falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Tucker wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Charles Tucker!
Charles Tucker retains his light heavyweight title!
Charles Tucker tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
