Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ovidio Kiran (ranked 349 p4p, 679 weight class) and Malcolm Rivera (ranked 55 p4p, 92 weight class). Kiran comes to the cage accompanied by Katmandu. Rivera has chosen BAD COMPANY as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Malcolm Rivera was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ovidio Kiran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Malcolm Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiran tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rivera manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Rivera lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rivera lands a big uppercut and Kiran crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kiran looks OK. Rivera waves Kiran back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

After winning the bout, Malcolm Rivera thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
