Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alborz Mumu (ranked 89 p4p, 80 weight class) and Techno Viking (ranked 18 p4p, 16 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Techno Viking!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mumu throws a hook but Viking avoids it easily.
Viking looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Left hook, right uppercut from Mumu.
Mumu misses with an uppercut
and Viking counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Alborz Mumu has been cut.
Mumu swings widly with a right hand
and Viking counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mumu! Viking lets Mumu back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Viking circles away from the clinch attempt
and Viking counters with a monster head kick that knocks Mumu out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Techno Viking!
After winning the bout, Techno Viking thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
