Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kiril Bohizdar (ranked 2005 p4p, 1415 weight class) and Juan Kemonito (ranked 118 p4p, 85 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Juan Kemonito!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ron Honeybunn and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemonito wants to clinch
and Bohizdar counters with a nice uppercut.
Bohizdar scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kemonito tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bohizdar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bohizdar moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Kemonito counters with a single leg into guard. Bohizdar didn't expect that.

Bohizdar has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Kemonito has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kemonito has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bohizdar is trying to break the clinch but Kemonito is controlling him.

Bohizdar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bohizdar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kemonito has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kemonito and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
