Wayne's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Edge Of A Revolution- Nickelback. Anthony Wayne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Big Fist!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fist swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Wayne clinches.
Wayne blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Wayne lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
I was talking to Wayne's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A head punch on the inside from Fist fails to land.

Wayne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wayne misses the jab.
Fist chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wayne can pounce on him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fist moves out of range of the strikes.
Fist unleashes a big counter combination but Wayne bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Fist bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wayne throws out a loose jab but Fist uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fist looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A lazy left from Fist finds it's target.
Wayne takes a swing at Fist's ribcage but misses.

Wayne takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Anthony Wayne has been cut.
Wayne fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fist.
Wayne is looking to slow Fist down with leg kicks.
Wayne throws a body kick that misses
and Fist counters with a three punch combo that has Wayne backing up. Wayne nods at Fist to acknowledge the strikes.
Wayne tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Fist counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wayne throws a leg kick which misses Fist's front leg but catches the back leg as Fist tries to avoid it.
Wayne thows a left - swing and a miss!
As Wayne backs off Fist throws a huge counter combo but Wayne manages to avoid it all.
Wayne throws a sloppy head kick and Fist moves out of range easily.
Nice defenses there by Wayne.
Wayne tries to land a front kick but Fist steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fist uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wayne.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wayne is looking to clinch but Fist is avoiding it.
Fist throws out a counter right but Wayne avoids it with no problem.
Fist slips a jab from Wayne.
Wayne throws an overhand right that lands on Fist's shoulder, as Fist tries to avoid the shot.
Wayne misses with a hook
and Fist cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fist avoids the body shot from Wayne.
Fist throws a counter combo.
Fist misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wayne.
A lazy left from Fist finds it's target.
Wayne cracks Fist with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wayne tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fist now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wayne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wayne throws a shot from downtown. Fist moves away and avoids it.
A big left from Wayne misses.
Fist is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Fist just misses with a punch to the body.

Wayne throws the left hand but Fist avoids the punch easily.
Wayne looks to throw the jab but Fist is out of range.
Anthony Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wayne gets in close and instigates a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fist.

Wayne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A punch lands to the side of Fist 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Wayne cracks Fist with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fist looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wayne finish him?

Fist is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fist drops his hands momentarily. Wayne doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Fist staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Fist doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
