Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bad Dawg (ranked 2230 p4p, 319 weight class) and David Scott (ranked 306 p4p, 49 weight class). David Scott has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bad Dawg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, David Scott! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawg misses with a hook. Scott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dawg pinned against the cage. Dawg gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dawg misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scott.
Scott takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Bad Dawg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dawg swings for the body but Scott moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Scott has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Dawg fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott looks to clinch and Dawg counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dawg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dawg scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Scott gets a clinch. Scott jumps guard but Dawg stands there with Scott around his waist. Scott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dawg breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott moves into the clinch. Dawg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dawg swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Scott counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Dawg misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dawg connects with a nice looking jab.
Dawg looks to score with a jab to the body but Scott is just out of range. Dawg misses with a wild body shot. Scott wants to clinch up but Dawg keeps it at a distance. Dawg is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Scott drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Scott pushes Dawg up against the cage in a clinch. Scott manages to pull guard.
Dawg has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Scott is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dawg has his hands clasped together but Scott extends and breaks Dawg's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Scott.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). David Scott! David Scott seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. In defeat, Bad Dawg stepped up to the mic, saying 'I lost on purpose.'.
