The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Branko with that takedown attempt.
Branko fails with a takedown attempt.
Branko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Elkins.
Branko tries to counter with a takedown but Elkins is quick to defend against it.
Elkins connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Branko takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Branko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Elkins.
Branko changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Branko dives in and scores a takedown into Elkins's guard.

Branko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Elkins is defending against the submission attempts here by Branko.
Branko has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Elkins wants to control but Branko is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Branko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Branko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Elkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Branko.
Elkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Branko is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Elkins is doing well to control the position and prevent Branko from advancing to side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Branko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Elkins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Branko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Elkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Elkins's back!
