Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scooter Bob (ranked 1559 p4p, 2506 weight class) and Miguel Sandoval (ranked 208 p4p, 324 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scooter Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Miguel Sandoval!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandoval shoots in looking for a takedown but Bob manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sandoval's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bob tries to land a front kick but Sandoval steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bob uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sandoval.
Sandoval moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sandoval misses with a left hand
and Bob counters with a left and a right that stings Sandoval.
Miguel Sandoval seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice uppercut lands for Sandoval. That snapped Bob's head back.
Sandoval paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sandoval lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sandoval lands a really nice looking cross but Bob seems unphased.

Sandoval fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bob, pushing him back against the cage.

Bob lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sandoval goes for a takedown attempt but Bob pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bob tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sandoval wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bob wants to control but Sandoval is keeping busy.

Bob utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bob preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Sandoval is nestled in close to Bob, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sandoval shoots in for a double leg but Bob sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sandoval ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bob moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bob counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Sandoval stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Bob definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Sandoval sizes up Bob with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Bob stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bob wants it to stay on the feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sandoval is defended easily by Bob.

Bob cracks Sandoval with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bob has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sandoval to stand back up!

Bob throws the left hand but Sandoval avoids the punch easily.

and Bob scores with a counter punch that sends Sandoval to the canvas! Bob smells blood - he's punishing Sandoval with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Sandoval has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scooter Bob!
