Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buster Glover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Syruncle!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syruncle misses with a straight right.
Glover is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
We've been informed that Syruncle has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Syruncle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Syruncle throws a series of punches but Glover moves out of range.
Glover appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Syruncle misses with a straight left.
A little feinted left hand from Glover on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Syruncle fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Glover takes one to the chin there.
Syruncle scores with a sloppy right hand. Glover should have avoided that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Syruncle. Glover does a little dance to reset his feet.
Glover is looking to counter punch.
Glover uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Syruncle.

and Glover counters with a straight right hand.
Glover on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Glover blocks a head kick by Syruncle.
It looked like Glover was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Syruncle.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Syruncle throws a front kick aimed at Glover's knee but Glover avoids it well.
Syruncle's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Syruncle duly obliges.

Syruncle lands a really nice looking cross but Glover seems unphased.

enabling Glover to counter with a crisp jab.

Bob Syruncle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Syruncle swings widly with a right hand
and Glover scores with a counter punch that sends Syruncle to the canvas! Glover smells blood - he's punishing Syruncle with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Syruncle has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buster Glover!
A relieved looking Buster Glover thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
