Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danyaal Zahedi!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salaam dodges the punch combination from Zahedi.
It looked like Salaam wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've been told by Salaam's head coaches at Primal Concrete Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Zahedi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Salaam was well out of range. Poor timing from Zahedi.
Salaam takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Andre Salaam has been cut.
Zahedi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zahedi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Salaam takes a swing at Zahedi's ribcage but misses.
Zahedi looks to throw the jab but Salaam is out of range.
Salaam was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

and Salaam counters with a nice uppercut.
Danyaal Zahedi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zahedi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Salaam displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zahedi throws out the jab.

Salaam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zahedi.
Zahedi swats away the attempt to clinch by Salaam.

Salaam steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zahedi.

and Salaam counters with a straight right hand.
Zahedi circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Zahedi to counter with a crisp jab.
Zahedi loads up on a big right hand but Salaam slips the punch.
Salaam is looking to counter punch.
Zahedi drops his hands momentarily and Salaam takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Salaam steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zahedi.
Salaam swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Zahedi misses with a right hand
and Salaam counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Zahedi cracks Salaam with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zahedi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Salaam to stand back up!
Salaam is rocked!
Zahedi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Zahedi takes a swing at Salaam's ribcage but misses.
Zahedi looks to throw the jab but Salaam is out of range.
Salaam closes the distance but Zahedi moves to the side
and Zahedi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Salaam! Zahedi lets Salaam back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Salaam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Andre Salaam's cut is getting worse.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zahedi closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Salaam out cold! Salaam corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Danyaal Zahedi!
