Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wingers Son (ranked 5331 p4p, 5488 weight class) and Unang Zemin (ranked 284 p4p, 289 weight class). Zemin has chosen 부모님 은혜 as his entrance music. Wingers Son has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wingers Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Unang Zemin! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Son takes the fight into the clinch. Son doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Zemin lands a nice shot to the body. Son misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Son keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zemin's efforts to push away. Son drags the fight down to the ground.
Zemin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Son's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Son bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zemin's guard. Zemin is wriggling around but Son manages to pass to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Son thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Zemin is trying to escape the position but Son is controlling the position. Zemin wants to get back to his feet. Son tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Son is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Zemin's shoulder. That is not cool.

Zemin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Son is controlling him well. Zemin is not content to let Son control the position. Son is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Zemin's shoulder. That is not cool. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Son is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zemin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Son is trying to get an arm triangle but Zemin is defending well. Zemin wants to get back to his feet but Son drags him back down. Son is looking to take a break and control but Zemin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Son shoots in and bounces Zemin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zemin is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Son presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Son tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zemin smiles and moves away.

Son tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zemin just stands there and leans against the cage. Son tries to throw a body punch but Zemin avoids it by throwing Son back against the cage. Zemin is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Son on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Son tries to get out of the position. Zemin is looking to stand up but Son won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zemin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Son controls Zemin momentarily but Zemin frees himself. Son looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zemin is one step ahead there.

Son ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Son no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Son has a closed guard, preventing Zemin from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Son looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zemin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Son looking to control.

Son wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zemin, who protects the arm well. Son trying to control the action but Zemin is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Son moves into full mount! Son looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Son has hold of Zemin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Zemin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Zemin is not a happy chappy he wants out of there.

Son trying to control the position from guard on top but Zemin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Wingers Son showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Son, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
