Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Haskins (ranked 11 p4p, 48 weight class) and Mohammed Kahn (ranked 3 p4p, 7 weight class). Kahn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. كارتل مدان kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mohammed Kahn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 17 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mohammed Kahn!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haskins misses with a hook to the body
and Haskins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Dwayne Haskins has been cut.
A jab lands there for Haskins.
Kahn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Mohammed Kahn has been cut.
Haskins lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Haskins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Haskins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kahn flicks out a counter leg kick but Haskins steps away.

Haskins drops Kahn with a beautiful combination! Kahn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Haskins is looking for the KO!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Haskins misses with a straight left.
Kahn looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kahn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Haskins feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kahn sprawling to the canvas! Kahn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Haskins finish him?!

Kahn is rocked!
Haskins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Haskins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kahn momentarily.

That has opened up Mohammed Kahn's cut even more.

Kahn seems to have recovered his senses.

Haskins loads up on a big right hand but Kahn slips the punch.

Kahn walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Some bone on bone action there as Kahn checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Kahn instigates a clinch.
Kahn can't find room to land a body shot as Haskins controls the action.

Haskins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Haskins throws a sloppy head kick and Kahn moves out of range easily.

It seemed like Kahn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kahn blocks the body kick.
Haskins scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kahn lands a big uppercut and Haskins crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Haskins looks OK. Kahn waves Haskins back to his feet!
Kahn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haskins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Haskins throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Kahn counter with a right hand.

Dwayne Haskins's cut is getting worse.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kahn is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Haskins cracks Kahn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The cut above Mohammed Kahn's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
