PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Drake (ranked 683 p4p, 1734 weight class) and Kaoru Nagashima (ranked 89 p4p, 198 weight class). Drake kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lose Yourself. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nagashima looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drake is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A relieved looking Jake Drake thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Kaoru Nagashima spoke after the fight, saying 'I meditated on the mountain but my understanding was off, Akirono has left me this day, I will return stronger and aligned'.
