Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darsin Bleak (ranked 124 p4p, 315 weight class) and Keith Seng (ranked 20 p4p, 36 weight class). Bleak kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enter Sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darsin Bleak! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Seng! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seng throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bleak connects with a looping right hand.
Bleak connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Seng moves into the clinch. Seng stalling in the clinch but Bleak improves position. Seng has a couple of punches blocked by Bleak.
Seng escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Seng tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bleak counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bleak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Seng wants to stand up but Bleak is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seng utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bleak lands a couple of elbows. Bleak trying to control the position from guard on top but Seng is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Seng looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bleak postures up and lands a big shot to Seng's brow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bleak stops Seng from standing up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bleak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bleak is looking to work some ground and pound but Seng has wrist control. Bleak wants to pass the guard but Seng is keeping the position. Bleak throwing strikes from guard but Seng blocks nicely. Bleak pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Seng is keeping the position for now. Seng keeping moving, preventing Bleak from controlling successfully. Bleak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Seng wants to stand and escape but Bleak is having none of it. Bleak wants to pass the guard but Seng is keeping the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bleak chips away with some ground and pound. Seng looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bleak looking to pass the guard. Seng preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Seng being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Keith Seng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Seng lands with a hook. Bleak tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Seng is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bleak gets a takedown into half guard. Seng is trying to stand back up but Bleak is controlling him
Bleak throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Seng to regain full guard. Bleak tries to free his leg and advance position but Seng is retaining full guard. Bleak wants to control from the top but Seng keeps moving. Seng can't keep his opponent in guard - Bleak advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Seng wants to get back to his feet.
Bleak takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bleak is pressing down on Seng's thigh, looking to free his foot. Seng is holding on for now. Seng is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bleak controlling the action here. Bleak tries to pass the half guard into mount. Seng knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Seng keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Seng keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Seng is trying to maintain the position but Bleak is very close to passing his half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Seng gets a clinch. Seng blocks a body shot from Bleak. Seng breaks from the clinch.
Bleak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Seng's guard. Darsin Bleak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bleak working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bleak advances position into side control! Bleak goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Seng rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bleak's guard! Nice work there by Seng! Seng postures up.

Bleak has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Seng is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bleak.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bleak sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Seng with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bleak is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Seng's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Seng's back! Seng turns into Bleak and is now in his guard.
Seng avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Seng's corner is telling him to maintain position. Bleak has an active guard here but Seng has managed to pass into half guard.
Bleak is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Seng can do to turn this around? Bleak is looking for a sweep. Seng is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bleak is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Seng pulls his head out easily. Bleak actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bleak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bleak moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bleak has a closed guard, preventing Seng from standing up. Bleak looking for a sweep. Not yet Bleak, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bleak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Seng defends it easily. Bleak working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Seng has passed into half guard!
Seng is controlling the pace.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Seng tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bleak controls his leg. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Keith Seng will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Seng is looking to chop away at Bleak's legs. Bleak tries to counter with a takedown but Seng is quick to defend against it. Bleak swats away the attempt to clinch by Seng. The fight stays on the outside here - Seng looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Seng wants to clinch. Seng doesn't manage to clinch there - Bleak circles away.

Bleak half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Bleak swats away the attempt to clinch by Seng. Bleak attempts a counter takedown but Seng avoids it well and moves away. Bleak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seng is aware though and is defending well. Bleak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Seng's guard. Bleak advances to half guard. Seng wants to control but Bleak is keeping busy.
Bleak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Seng does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Seng tries to roll over but Bleak keeps him under control. Bleak moves nicely into side control. Bleak throws a strike aimed at the side of Seng's head but Seng avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bleak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bleak scores with punches from side control. You can see the frustration on Seng's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bleak cracks Seng with a big right hand but Seng just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Darsin Bleak spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
