Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tau Masunwendinghamar (ranked 922 p4p, 2097 weight class) and Buster Gruff (ranked 21 p4p, 66 weight class). Masunwendinghamar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Weltschmerz. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masunwendinghamar throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Masunwendinghamar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Masunwendinghamar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Masunwendinghamar throws a lazy uppercut
and Gruff cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Masunwendinghamar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Masunwendinghamar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Gruff moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Masunwendinghamar throws a looping overhand right but Gruff ducks down to avoid it.
Gruff tries to clinch but Masunwendinghamar is having none of it.

Gruff scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Masunwendinghamar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gruff sprawling to the canvas! Gruff rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Masunwendinghamar finish him?!
Gruff is rocked!
It looks like Buster Gruff has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gruff clobbers Masunwendinghamar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Gruff seems to have recovered his senses.
Masunwendinghamar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gruff unleashes a big counter combination but Masunwendinghamar bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Masunwendinghamar loads up on a big right hand but Gruff slips the punch.
Despite the aggression on Gruff's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Gruff throws a wild hook but Masunwendinghamar just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Gruff gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Masunwendinghamar raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tau Masunwendinghamar!
