Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ife Edwards (ranked 633 p4p, 1258 weight class) and Leif Erikson (ranked 93 p4p, 171 weight class). Edwards's entrance music is Damian Marley - Road to Zion. A fine choice. Erikson has chosen Into Battle - Ensiferum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Edwards connects with a looping right hand.
Edwards tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Erikson was well out of range. Poor timing from Edwards.
And Erikson responds with a good body kick, but Edwards manages to step out the way in time.

Edwards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A telegraphed right hand from Edwards misses the target.

Edwards cracks a nice hook into Erikson 's ribs.

and Erikson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Erikson throws a leg kick but Edwards sees it coming and checks it nicely.
We've been hearing reports that Edwards has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It looked like Edwards wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Edwards ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Edwards clobbers Erikson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Edwards moves in close and cracks Erikson with a massive right hand! Erikson , frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Edwards!

Ife Edwards took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Conviction for their support in the buildup to the fight.
In defeat, Leif Erikson stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will now rape and pillage!'.
