Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yago Steve (ranked 251 p4p, 441 weight class) and Saul Goodman (ranked 45 p4p, 69 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yago Steve! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saul Goodman! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goodman misses with a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Goodman. That kick from Goodman tenderised Steve's leg. Steve is trying to keep his angry face on. Steve darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Goodman misses with the body kick and Steve counters with a stiff right hand. Goodman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Goodman ducks under a wild hook from Steve. Goodman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steve paws at him with a jab and circles away. Goodman walks forward, straight into a front kick from Steve. Steve tries to keep at a distance but Goodman has taken the fight into the clinch. Steve lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Goodman backwards. Steve scores with a nice hook to the head. I was talking to Steve's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Goodman cracks Steve with a nice body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steve gets through Goodman's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Steve breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steve misses with a kick to the body.
Steve cracks Goodman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Steve has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Goodman to stand back up!
Goodman is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Goodman gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Steve gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yago Steve! Yago Steve bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
