Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Erwin (ranked 377 p4p, 350 weight class) and Raate Road (ranked 53 p4p, 45 weight class). Road is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erwin misses with a body kick.
Erwin looks to land a left hand but Road moved out of range nicely.

Erwin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Randall's Top Team in the buildup to the fight.

Erwin explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Road lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Erwin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Erwin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Road rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Erwin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd cheers as Erwin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Road doesn't seem phased though.

Erwin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Road's head.

Road swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Erwin half committed to a counter leg kick.
Road connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Road dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Erwin thuds his shin into the meat of Road's side.
Erwin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Road throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Erwin escapes and throws Road's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That was a close round but I would say that Derek Erwin will probably get the nod.
That's time! Erwin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Road shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Road was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Road looks up at the clock and then as Erwin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Road smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Raate Road.
I think Road has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
