Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gemechu McKraken (ranked 452 p4p, 476 weight class) and Robert Grandis (ranked 26 p4p, 29 weight class). Gemechu McKraken is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Gemechu McKraken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Grandis!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grandis throws a low kick, looking for McKraken's leg but McKraken calmly moves out of range.
Grandis is looking to chop away at McKraken's legs.
That kick from Grandis tenderised McKraken's leg. McKraken is trying to keep his angry face on.
McKraken chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Grandis can pounce on him.
Grandis thows a left - swing and a miss!
McKraken shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
McKraken looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Grandis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grandis manages to get to full guard.
McKraken throws a strike but Grandis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

McKraken is refusing to be controlled, as Grandis sits in half guard.
Grandis tries to pass the half guard into mount. McKraken knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

McKraken makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McKraken.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McKraken is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Grandis passes into half guard.
Well, if Grandis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

McKraken really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
McKraken tries to control Grandis's body but Grandis pushes him off. McKraken squirms to his side and now Grandis has his back!

McKraken rolls, trying to escape but Grandis keeps control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grandis doesn't have the hooks in and McKraken manages to turn into his guard.

McKraken wants to control from the top but Grandis keeps moving.

McKraken postures up in Grandis's guard and throws a big left but Grandis blocks it.

Grandis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McKraken doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McKraken manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McKraken slips a jab from Grandis.
McKraken fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Grandis tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McKraken is able to avoid easily.
McKraken appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

and Grandis makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
McKraken scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Grandis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McKraken has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McKraken and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
