Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kekino Maluga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cho Gath!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maluga lands a jab to Gath's midsection.
Gath tries to clinch but Maluga moves out of range.
Gath wants to clinch but Maluga slips to the side
and Maluga counters with a nice right hand that sends Gath toppling to the canvas! Gath scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Maluga finish him?!
Gath is rocked!
It looks like Cho Gath has been cut.
Gath fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gath has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gath glances at the clock... BAM! Maluga nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Gath crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Gath is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kekino Maluga!
During a confident post fight interview, Kekino Maluga thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
