Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mikhail Bakhtin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gun Nero!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakhtin swings away with a body shot that misses
so Nero counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nero stands and throws Bakhtin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nero is looking to take a break and control but Bakhtin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nero misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Bakhtin takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bakhtin is rocked!
It looks like Mikhail Bakhtin has been cut.
Nero tries to score with some ground and pound. Bakhtin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nero cracks Bakhtin with a big right hand but Bakhtin just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bakhtin is not content to let Nero control the position.
Bakhtin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nero on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Bakhtin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nero connects with a decent elbow.
Nero is putting a hurting on Bakhtin here, landing some big shots from side control.
A big shot lands for Nero! That's hurt Bakhtin! Will he recover? Nero fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gun Nero!
