Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, David Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Quigley!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Darius Henderson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Quigley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Quigley throws a series of punches but Scott moves out of range.
Scott was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Scott moves into the clinch successfully.
Scott is trying to pull guard but Quigley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Quigley breaks the clinch.
Scott moves out of range as Quigley strikes.
We've been hearing reports that Scott has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Quigley throws a nice looking combination but Scott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Scott has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quigley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Quigley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Scott counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
