The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhdanov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slaissi.
Zhdanov throws a quick counter head kick but Slaissi was just out of range.
Slaissi throws a body punch but Zhdanov moves out of range.
Zhdanov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Zhdanov throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Kimbo Slaissi has been cut.

Zhdanov cracks Slaissi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Slaissi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Zhdanov finish him?
A looping hook to the body misses from Slaissi. Zhdanov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zhdanov slips a jab from Slaissi.
An attempted straight right counter from Zhdanov misses the target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slaissi digs a good hook to Zhdanov's body.
Slaissi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Slaissi throws a hook but Zhdanov avoids it easily.
Zhdanov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Zhdanov misses with a lunging right hand
and Slaissi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Roman Zhdanov has been cut.
Zhdanov moves out of range of the strikes.
Slaissi misses with a leg kick
and Zhdanov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That has opened up Kimbo Slaissi's cut even more.
Zhdanov lands a big head kick that sends Slaissi to the canvas! Zhdanov follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
