Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Lee (ranked 5826 p4p, 25072 weight class) and Yair Max (ranked 462 p4p, 561 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Enter the Dragon - Zero. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yair Max! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Max. Lee moves away from the strike by Max. Max takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses. Max throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily. Max throws a hook but Lee blocks it. Max gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lee preventing the sweep. Lee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lee drops back looking for a leg! Max is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Max manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Max's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Max working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Max controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee advances to half guard. Lee tries to pass to full mount but Max defends it. Lee is looking for a kimura but Max is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lee to get the leverage. Lee is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Max as he works his way to full guard.
Max keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Max trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Lee trying to control but Max is working from the bottom. Lee postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Max is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lee, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee working for a triangle but Max defends it easily.
Max not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position. Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lee has his foot on Max's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Max works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Max doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Max manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lee is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Lee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Max defends it easily. Max with a flurry of punches that miss. Max wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Max can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lee keeping moving, preventing Max from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Yair Max is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Max misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lee walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Max just misses with a punch to the body.
Max fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it. Max scores with a jab to the jaw. Max jabbing away but nothing is landing. Yair Max seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee misses with a hook
and Max counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Max looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Max is trying to improve his position. Lee working away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Max is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lee is trying to get an arm triangle but Max is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Yair Max will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lee gets the takedown into side control. Max is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Max is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Lee works to advance to full mount. Max defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Max keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee controlling from the full mount. Max is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action. Lee has control of Max's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Max regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Max can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Max is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lee is working for a guillotine from mount but Max frees his head quite easily.
Max looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Max to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Max shrugs it off. Lee looking to secure an arm triangle but Max defends it well. Lee looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Max on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lee tries to control but Max wriggling away. Max is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lee with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Max is trying desperately to improve position. Lee jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Max manages to avoid the submission attempt. Max is not content to let Lee control the position. Lee controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee trying to control the action but Max is working from the bottom. Max is looking for a sweep. Max prevents Lee from improving position. Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Max struggling a bit here. Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Max can do to turn this around? Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Max is trying to control Lee's posture but Lee avoids it. Lee tries to move into full mount but can't pass Max's legs. Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Max knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Brandon Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee swings around for an armbar but Max sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lee's guard. Lee working for submissions but it's allowed Max to get to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Lee dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Lee throws a lazy right hand but Max sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Max throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee. Max throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it. Lee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Max on his heels. He'll look to pass Max's guard now, I'm sure. Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Max is retaining full guard. Max not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lee drops back looking for a leg! Max is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Max manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Max's guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lee seems to be looking for submissions.

Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lee jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Max is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Max and Lee has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Lee working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
