Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tu Winh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luka Doncic!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Topper Green and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Doncic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Winh somewhat.
Doncic looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Winh instigates a clinch.
Doncic lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Winh backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A short body shot lands from Doncic as the two fighters clinch.
Doncic lands a body shot in the clinch.
Winh is breathing heavily.
Doncic scores with a shoulder strike.
Doncic scores with a shot to the side of Winh's head.
It looks like Tu Winh has been cut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Doncic creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Doncic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Winh misses with a takedown attempt
and Doncic counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luka Doncic!
A relieved looking Luka Doncic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
