Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deividas Vilkas (ranked 2318 p4p, 2606 weight class) and Maverick Diaz (ranked 323 p4p, 368 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vilkas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fortunate Son. Maverick Diaz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Diaz.
A little feinted left hand from Vilkas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Diaz misses with a hook
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Vilkas misses with a body shot.
Diaz misses with a lunging right hand
letting Vilkas counter with a right hand.
Vilkas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Diaz at a distance.
Vilkas moves away from the strike by Diaz.

Vilkas throws a leg kick but Diaz checks it.
Diaz sizes up Vilkas with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Despite the aggression on Diaz's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Diaz throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vilkas counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
