Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor The Barbarian (ranked 17 p4p, 51 weight class) and Ben Slam (ranked 3 p4p, 7 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 35 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor The Barbarian! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ben Slam! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Barbarian swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A punch combination from The Barbarian misses. Slam moves out of range as The Barbarian strikes. The Barbarian pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As The Barbarian backs off Slam throws a huge counter combo but The Barbarian manages to avoid it all. Slam with the inside leg kick. Sloppy strikes from The Barbarian. Those never looked like landing. Slam swings widly with a right hand
and The Barbarian counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The Barbarian slips a straight right by Slam. Slam misses with a looping right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Barbarian ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slam moves away. Slam finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The Barbarian feinted there with a counter leg kick. Slam misses with a telegraphed body shot
and The Barbarian cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Ben Slam has been cut. Slam moves forwards but The Barbarian connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slam throws a poor cross that misses
and The Barbarian counters with an outside leg kick.
A slow jab from Slam misses its intended target. The Barbarian displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slam throws out the jab. Slam checks a low kick from The Barbarian. Slam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The Barbarian was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. The Barbarian throws a lazy uppercut
and Slam makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Slam lands a nice shot that snaps The Barbarian's head back.
It looks like Conor The Barbarian has been cut. Slam takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Slam takes a shot right to the bread basket. The Barbarian cracks Slam with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Slam looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can The Barbarian finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slam misses with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slam fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Slam ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A jab from Slam misses. Slam avoids the head kick by The Barbarian.
Slam tries a low kick but The Barbarian avoids it. Slam lets loose with a powerful body kick. The Barbarian will feel that in the morning. Slam throws a big shot that misses. A little feinted left hand from The Barbarian on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. The Barbarian throws a wild body kick that Slam sees coming a mile off. Slam defending well as The Barbarian loads up on a big left hand. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! The Barbarian crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slam - the referee stops the clock and The Barbarian gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slam. The Barbarian manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jab, jab by Slam - just one landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slam jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Good shot there by Slam. Slam lands a big uppercut and The Barbarian crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but The Barbarian looks OK. Slam waves The Barbarian back to his feet!
The Barbarian is rocked! A low kick from Slam misses enabling The Barbarian to counter with a crisp jab.
That has opened up Ben Slam's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slam misses with an uppercut
letting The Barbarian counter with a right hand. Slam throws a low kick, looking for The Barbarian's leg but The Barbarian calmly moves out of range. The Barbarian lands with a straight right. Slam didn't see that one coming.
The cut above Ben Slam's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Slam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Slam misses with a straight left. The Barbarian throws a counter high kick but Slam was just alert enough to avoid it. It looks like The Barbarian has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Slam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Barbarian throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Slam with a nice cross.
Conor The Barbarian's cut is getting worse. Slam throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent The Barbarian stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The Barbarian connects with a single shot there. Nice uppercut there from Slam. The Barbarian sends Slam crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! The Barbarian is motioning to the referee to let Slam up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Slam is rocked!
Ben Slam's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ben Slam's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Conor The Barbarian! Conor The Barbarian retains his heavyweight title! A relieved looking Conor The Barbarian thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
