Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wally News (ranked 3531 p4p, 2733 weight class) and Kekino Maluga (ranked 451 p4p, 379 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wally News! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kekino Maluga! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! News throws a body shot but no joy. Maluga swats away the attempt to clinch by News. News misses with a two punch combination.
News wants to clinch. News connects with a body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. News pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Maluga back to the cage. News follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Maluga moves out of range of the strikes. Maluga jabbing away but nothing is landing. News misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maluga keeps the fight on the outside. Nice defenses there by Maluga. News doesn't manage to clinch there - Maluga circles away.
Maluga looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Maluga moves out of range as News strikes. Maluga slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Wally News has been cut. News tries to clinch but fails miserably and Maluga counters with a straight punch to the midsection. News throws a poor cross that misses
and Maluga rattles News with a well-timed uppercut counter. - News tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Maluga dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving News stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kekino Maluga! Kekino Maluga seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
