Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toke Axelsen (ranked 1852 p4p, 2774 weight class) and Caio Carvalho (ranked 228 p4p, 345 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Carvalho's choice of entrance music: Pentagono - É o Moio. Toke Axelsen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toke Axelsen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caio Carvalho! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Axelsen misses with a looping left. Carvalho moves away from the strike by Axelsen. Axelsen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Carvalho. Axelsen tries to sprawl but Carvalho drives through with a takedown into half guard. Carvalho trying to mount his opponent but Axelsen defends it. Carvalho wants to advance to full mount but Axelsen doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Axelsen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Axelsen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Carvalho throws a strike but Axelsen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carvalho doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Carvalho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Axelsen is aware though and is defending well. Carvalho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Carvalho looking to hit a scissor sweep but Axelsen is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Axelsen postures up.
Axelsen wants to control from the top but Carvalho keeps moving. Carvalho looking to control.
Axelsen trying to control the position from guard on top but Carvalho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Axelsen won't allow Carvalho to sweep him here. Carvalho looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Axelsen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Carvalho has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Axelsen should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Carvalho has tightened it up now! Axelsen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
