Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carey Bolden (ranked 5541 p4p, 6745 weight class) and Moe Telsiks (ranked 587 p4p, 653 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carey Bolden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Moe Telsiks! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolden shoots in and drives through. Telsiks sprawls well. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Telsiks has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bolden has a takedown stuffed. Bolden closes the distance and clinches up with Telsiks, looking for a takedown. Bolden pushes Telsiks against the cage but Telsiks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Telsiks now looks to counter with a shot at the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carey Bolden. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bolden fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Telsiks avoids it really well and circles away. Bolden keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Telsiks. Telsiks throws out a loose jab but Bolden uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Telsiks clinches up against the cage. Telsiks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bolden lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A looping hook to the body misses from Telsiks. Bolden does a little dance to reset his feet. Bolden seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Telsiks takes a swing at Bolden's ribcage but misses. A momentary lapse in concentration from Bolden enables Telsiks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bolden manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bolden working a defensive guard here.
Bolden wants to stand and escape but Telsiks is having none of it. Telsiks wants to control from the top but Bolden keeps moving. Bolden working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Telsiks. Bolden is striking off his back. Telsiks thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Telsiks is working for a kimura but Bolden is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Telsiks is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bolden sees it coming and defends easily. Telsiks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bolden doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Telsiks. Bolden wants to get back to his feet.

Telsiks frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Telsiks looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Telsiks lands a big elbow. Telsiks is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bolden to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bolden shrugs it off. Telsiks is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Telsiks extends the arm and Bolden is forced to tap!
