Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeVon Hampton (ranked 663 p4p, 824 weight class) and Hole Reemer (ranked 93 p4p, 112 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hole Reemer!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton dives in and grabs Reemer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reemer pushes down on Hampton's head and hops out.

It looks like Hole Reemer has been cut.
Hampton goes for a double leg but Reemer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reemer continues to drive forward.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hampton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Hampton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reemer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hampton connects with a nice short shot to Reemer's temple.

That has opened up Hole Reemer's cut even more.

Hampton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reemer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hampton somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reemer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hampton at a distance.
Hampton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reemer pinned against the cage. Reemer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Reemer thuds his right hand into Hampton's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Reemer has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Oh Hampton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reemer walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hampton drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Reemer swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hampton's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hole Reemer!

Hole Reemer spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
