Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Chang (ranked 983 p4p, 1371 weight class) and Jermaine Camacho (ranked 129 p4p, 172 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jermaine Camacho!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang misses with a hook. Camacho ducked under it nicely.
Chang just misses with a punch to the body.
Camacho lands a nice looking body shot.
Camacho on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Chang avoids the body shot from Camacho.
Camacho scores with a jab to the body.
Camacho throws a body punch but Chang moves out of range.
Chang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Camacho.
Chang lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Camacho connects with a body shot.
Chang looks to land a body kick but Camacho moved away.

Camacho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Chang appears to be looking for a big counter.
Camacho is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chang.
Bruce Chang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Camacho misses with an uppercut. Chang saw that one coming.
Chang doesn't manage to clinch there - Camacho circles away.

Chang misses with a body shot.
Chang tries to land a body kick

and Camacho counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Chang!
Camacho tries to advance to mount but Chang denies him.

Camacho is trying to get an arm triangle but Chang is defending well.
Chang wants to control but Camacho postures up.
Chang is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Chang stops Camacho from passing to mount.
Camacho trying to control the position but Chang is working away.

Chang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Camacho wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Camacho is trying to get an arm triangle but Chang is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ground and pound from Camacho seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Chang looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Chang tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Camacho works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Chang is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Chang is trying to maintain the position but Camacho is very close to passing his half guard.
Chang is staying active underneath Camacho, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Camacho tries to pass to full mount but Chang defends it.
Chang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Camacho wants to pass the guard but Chang is defending well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Camacho is thwarting Chang's attempts to control the position.
Chang moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Chang controls Camacho momentarily but Camacho frees himself.
Chang trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Chang is trying to control the position but Camacho postures up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chang is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Camacho takes one on the button.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jermaine Camacho dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Camacho shoots in for a double leg but Chang sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Chang throws a looping overhand right but Camacho ducks down to avoid it.
Chang scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Camacho fails with a takedown attempt.
Camacho gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chang takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Chang dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Camacho. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Camacho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Camacho stands up over Chang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Camacho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Camacho has managed to get both his arms back between Chang's legs - danger averted.

Camacho is pressing down on Chang's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chang is holding on for now.
Camacho prevents Chang from improving his position.
Camacho looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Chang wants to control but Camacho is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Camacho is working for a kimura but Chang is defending it quite comfortably.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chang won't allow Camacho to pass to mount.
Chang is staying active underneath Camacho, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Camacho has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Camacho passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chang!
Chang is in all sorts of trouble here.
Chang prevents Camacho from taking his back.

Chang is working to get back to half guard.
Camacho trying to control but Chang is having none of it.
Chang is looking to improve his position but Camacho isn't that keen on the idea.
Camacho scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Chang stops Camacho from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Camacho postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chang looks a forlorn figure.
Chang slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Camacho is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chang is just riding it out for now. Camacho eventually gives up the hold.

Chang tries to get to full guard but Camacho has control of the leg.

Jermaine Camacho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Camacho takes a swing at Chang's ribcage but misses.
Camacho swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Chang - that will leave a mark!

Bruce Chang is winning the standup battle so far.
Camacho wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nice uppercut there from Chang.
Chang catches Camacho with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Camacho is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chang rather than just go for the knockout.
Chang tries to clinch up.
Camacho throws a body shot but no joy.
Camacho defending well as Chang loads up on a big left hand.
Camacho lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Chang swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Camacho.
Camacho swings for the body but Chang moves out of range.
Chang looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Chang misses with a jab to the body
and Camacho counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Camacho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Camacho shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chang is trying to defend but Camacho finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chang works his way to full guard. Good work.

Camacho working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chang's head.
Chang looking for a sweep. Not yet Chang, not yet.

Chang looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Chang has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Camacho is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chang.

Camacho has hold of Chang's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Chang tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Camacho cranks the arm and Chang screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Chang, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jermaine Camacho!
