McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Line checks the leg kick.

Nice combo by Line! Oh, that's hurt him - McGuire falls to the canvas and Line follows him into side control.

McGuire is rocked!

It looks like Bryer McGuire has been cut.
McGuire regains half guard there - taking advantage of Line's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Line thows a huge punch but McGuire dodges it nicely.
Line looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Line takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Line wants to pass to mount but McGuire is defending the position.

Line is taking a breather. McGuire says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
McGuire avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Line.
Line perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Line trying to control from McGuire's half guard. McGuire has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Line is stalling in the full guard.
Line is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Line postures up in McGuire's guard and throws a big left but McGuire blocks it.
McGuire wants to stand but Line is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Line misses with an uppercut.
McGuire throws a shot to the body.
Line tests McGuire's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Line scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Line drops his hands momentarily and McGuire takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Line connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Line walks into a left hand.

McGuire lands a big right hand that sends Line crashing to the mat! McGuire stays standing though and waves Line back to his feet!

It looks like Gothic Line has been cut.
Line buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McGuire misses with a low kick.
Line keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McGuire.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Line takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Line ducks under a wild hook from McGuire.
Line lunges at McGuire with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McGuire's hand.
McGuire throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Line! But no joy.
Nice defenses there by Line.
McGuire checks a leg kick.
Line lands a jab to McGuire's midsection.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McGuire loads up on a big right hand but Line slips the punch.
Line scores with a jab to the jaw.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Line lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McGuire has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McGuire and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McGuire scores with a nice right hand.
McGuire missing with a left hand there. Line was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Line was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
McGuire takes a swing at Line's ribcage but misses.

Line tries to keep at a distance but McGuire has taken the fight into the clinch.
McGuire prevents a body shot from Line.

Line wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McGuire has him pressed against the cage.
Line throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Line makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Gothic Line will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McGuire throws out a leg kick but Line moves out of range and McGuire only half commits.
McGuire takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McGuire throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Line connects with a good right hand that stumbles McGuire. McGuire circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
McGuire throws a body punch but Line moves out of range.
McGuire avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Line drops McGuire with a naaaaasty hook - McGuire is in real trouble here! Line dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
