PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Blazkov (ranked 874 p4p, 1071 weight class) and Inspektor Bee (ranked 135 p4p, 161 weight class). Blazkov comes to the cage accompanied by Me And The Devil. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Inspektor Bee was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee is looking to land body kicks.

Bee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Blazkov is out of range.

Bee throws a hook to the side of Blazkov's head but Blazkov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Blazkov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bee.
Blazkov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bee throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Blazkov feints a jab promting Bee to slip. Blazkov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bee slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Inspektor Bee has been cut.
Bee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blazkov.
Blazkov throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Blazkov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Blazkov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
And Bee responds with a good body kick, but Blazkov manages to step out the way in time.
Blazkov moves in looking to clinch but Bee pushes him off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blazkov is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bee to keep the fight standing.

Bee pushes Blazkov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Bee throws an elbow but it's blocked.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bee.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bee. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blazkov is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Some bone on bone action there as Bee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blazkov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bee walks away with a smile on his face. Blazkov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Blazkov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bee makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bee cracks a nice hook into Blazkov's ribs.

Inspektor Bee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
