Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 4 p4p, 34 weight class) and Dany Crosby (ranked 1 p4p, 4 weight class). Todd kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Piano Man. Dany Crosby acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Crosby cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Crosby counters with a right hand to the body.

Crosby tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Todd has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Todd thumps Crosby with a low kick.

We've been informed that Crosby has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Todd fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crosby looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Todd misses with a body punch.
Crosby misses with a hook from the clinch.
Crosby blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Crosby throws a punch but it's blocked by Todd.

Todd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Crosby ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Todd moves away.
Crosby misses with an uppercut
and Todd counters with an inside leg kick.
Todd takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Crosby moves out of range as Todd throws a body kick.
A little jabbing left from Crosby on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Crosby lands with a straight right. Todd didn't see that one coming.

Crosby is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Todd.
Todd lands a jab to Crosby's midsection.
Crosby looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Crosby swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Todd clinches with his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crosby tries a body shot but Todd blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Crosby fails to land.
Todd lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Todd tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Crosby's elbow.
Crosby lands with a light punch inside.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Todd lands a big head kick that sends Crosby tumbling to the mat! Todd takes a step backwards and waves Crosby back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Dany Crosby has been cut.
and Todd counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Crosby! He's just covering up as Todd starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
