Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leif Leifsson (ranked 2 p4p, 8 weight class) and Kilo Maluga (ranked 1 p4p, 2 weight class). Maluga comes into a darkened arena with his song building. JUNGLE kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maluga throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Maluga counters with a crisp right hand that drops Leifsson! Maluga lets Leifsson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Leifsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maluga manages to avoid it.
It seemed like Maluga was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Maluga drops Leifsson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Leifsson looks back up at him and smiles so Maluga waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
