Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jim Lahey (ranked 1054 p4p, 1477 weight class) and Jim Reefer (ranked 127 p4p, 166 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Lahey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Reefer! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reefer scores with a head kick. Lahey tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Lahey keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Reefer. Reefer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Jim Reefer has been cut. Reefer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lahey. Reefer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Some bone on bone action there as Lahey checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. The fighters circling - Lahey throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lahey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Reefer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lahey misses with a body shot.
Reefer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Lahey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lahey pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Reefer lands a jab to Lahey's midsection. Reefer moves into range and connects with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lahey closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lahey tries a low kick but Reefer avoids it. Lahey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Jim Lahey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lahey throws a nice inside leg kick. Reefer misses with a hook to the body
enabling Lahey to counter with a crisp jab. Reefer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lahey. Reefer scores with a push kick. Jab from Reefer. Lahey lands a head shot. Lahey missing with a left hand there. Reefer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lahey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reefer throws out the jab. Lahey staying out of range there. Reefer lands with a slapping head kick.
Lahey is rocked! Reefer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Oh Lahey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reefer steps in with a hook that catches Lahey right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Reefer follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lahey looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Reefer! A victorious Jim Reefer thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. Jim Lahey spoke after the fight, saying 'This Fuckin SHIT Pirate cheated!'.
