The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz instigates a clinch.
Ginger digs a right hand into Diaz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Diaz's gas tank.
I was talking to Ginger's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Diaz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ginger is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Ginger lands a shot to the body.
Ginger throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Ginger stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Diaz looks winded!
Diaz goes for a takedown attempt but Ginger pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Diaz throws a lazy body kick
and Ginger counters with a huge left! Diaz is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ginger isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Diaz from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ginger!
