Chomofsky's entrance music is Mastodon - Sleeping Giant. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chomofsky.
Chomofsky changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Romano misses with a right hand
and Chomofsky counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Chomofsky is looking for a kimura but Romano is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chomofsky to get the leverage.
Chomofsky works his way into full mount!
Chomofsky moves to the back position.
Will Chomofsky go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chomofsky is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Romano with him. Romano is trying to defend but Chomofsky has an arm under the chin now! Romano grimaces and is forced to tap out!

After winning the bout, Linkavitch Chomofsky thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
