Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Kulik (ranked 1570 p4p, 2234 weight class) and Hector Gonzalez (ranked 232 p4p, 307 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hector Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Kulik catches Gonzalez right on the button with a cross.
Kulik lands a big head kick that sends Gonzalez tumbling to the mat! Kulik takes a step backwards and waves Gonzalez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gonzalez is rocked!
It looks like Hector Gonzalez has been cut.
Kulik pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gonzalez throws a head kick but Kulik moves out of range.
Gonzalez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kulik connects with a looping right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kulik fails to land with a series of punches.
Kulik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gonzalez takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kulik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gonzalez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kulik.
Vasiliy Kulik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kulik throws a head kick that Gonzalez semi-blocks.
Kulik throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Gonzalez takes a swing at Kulik's ribcage but misses.
Kulik throws a half hearted mid kick.

Kulik throws a push kick but Gonzalez slaps the foot to one side.
Gonzalez blocks a head kick by Kulik.
Gonzalez dodges the punch combination from Kulik.
Gonzalez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Gonzalez throws a lazy right hand but Kulik sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gonzalez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kulik is looking to land body kicks.
Kulik throws a sloppy head kick
and Gonzalez counters with a nice leg kick.
Kulik goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Gonzalez looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Gonzalez avoids a kick to the body.
Gonzalez blocks a leg kick.
Kulik throws a head kick but Gonzalez moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kulik scores with a nice body kick.
Kulik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And Gonzalez responds with a good body kick, but Kulik manages to step out the way in time.

Gonzalez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kulik.
