Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, New Breed One!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Darius Henderson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

One gets caught napping as Branko dives in and scores a takedown. One manages to retain guard.
Branko wants to pass the guard but One is keeping the position.
One looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

One looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

One is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Branko has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by One after a bit of a struggle.
We've been hearing reports that Branko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Branko has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by One after a bit of a struggle.

One unloads a knee to the mid-section. Branko lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Branko goes for a takedown attempt but One pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

One gets in close and instigates a clinch.
One throws a knee to the head but misses.

Branko pulls guard successfully.
One has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Branko is proving hard to escape from.

Branko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. One defends it easily.

Branko is working hard here to advance position.
One tries to pass the half guard into mount. Branko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Branko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
One looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Branko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

One looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Branko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
One looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
One controls Branko momentarily but Branko frees himself.
Branko tries to free his leg and advance position but One is retaining full guard.

Branko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Branko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Branko drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but One manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Branko has One in his guard.

One must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Horrible takedown attempt by Branko or perhaps it was just good defense by One, which made it look bad.

One is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Branko defends well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Branko drops back looking for a leg! One is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and One manages to kick Branko off! Branko jumps back into One's guard.

New Breed One showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

One is pushing Branko up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

One breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Branko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts One as he jumps to the side.

One gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Branko wants a takedown but no success here.
Davdio Branko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Branko drops down looking for an ankle pick but One pulls his leg out and moves away.

New Breed One comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well One has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
