Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vernik Dahl! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Glenn Greenwald! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dahl shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Greenwald sprawls well. Greenwald wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dahl gets slowly back to his feet. Greenwald looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Greenwald lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Greenwald punishes Dahl's body with a nice straight punch. A shot to the liver by Greenwald. Beautiful body shot. Greenwald misses with a double jab.

Greenwald has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice takedown defense from Greenwald. Greenwald stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Greenwald wants it to stay on the feet. Greenwald cracks a nice hook into Dahl's ribs. Dahl walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Glenn Greenwald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Greenwald throws a series of strikes that have Dahl backpedaling.
