Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux Jr. uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paul.
Paul getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Paul misses with an uppercut
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Thibodeaux Jr. slips under a jab from Paul.
Thibodeaux Jr. feints a counter leg kick.
Paul throws a poor cross that misses
and Thibodeaux Jr. makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Paul looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Paul falls off balance throwing a combination
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a nice right hand that sends Paul toppling to the canvas! Paul scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Thibodeaux Jr. finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
