Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Milo Andrianakis (ranked 352 p4p, 589 weight class) and Mikhail Popkov (ranked 56 p4p, 83 weight class). Andrianakis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Andy Milonakis Theme Song. Mikhail Popkov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popkov connects with a jab.
Andrianakis moves into the clinch successfully.
Andrianakis lands on the inside with an uppercut.
It looks like Mikhail Popkov has been cut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Popkov.

Popkov misses with a hook from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Popkov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Popkov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Andrianakis.

And Popkov responds with a good body kick, but Andrianakis manages to step out the way in time.

Andrianakis lands a big uppercut and Popkov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Popkov looks OK. Andrianakis waves Popkov back to his feet!

That has opened up Mikhail Popkov's cut even more.
Popkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Andrianakis looks to score with a jab to the body but Popkov is just out of range.
Andrianakis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Popkov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Andrianakis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Popkov.
The fighters circle momentarily. Andrianakis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Popkov is still on wobbly legs! Can Andrianakis finish him?

We've been told by Andrianakis's head coaches at Marty Robbin's Fight Ranch that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Popkov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Andrianakis.
Andrianakis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Popkov is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Andrianakis with a body shot.

Popkov throws out a counter right but Andrianakis avoids it with no problem.

A little jabbing left from Popkov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Popkov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Andrianakis connects with a right that clearly hurt Popkov. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Andrianakis proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Popkov collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Milo Andrianakis!
