Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brenon Conors (ranked 6536 p4p, 4923 weight class) and Konstantin The Russian Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Russian Giant has chosen Soda Popinski Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brenon Conors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Konstantin The Russian Giant! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conors misses with a takedown attempt and The Russian Giant counters with a one-two to the body. Conors shoots in for a double leg but The Russian Giant sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The Russian Giant bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. An elbow from The Russian Giant crashes against the mat.
Conors takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The Russian Giant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Conors keeps working. The Russian Giant advances nicely into full mount. The Russian Giant connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Conors in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Russian Giant raining down shots from the mount! BOOM! The Russian Giant connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Conors taking shots to the head. The Russian Giant lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Conors hang on? The Russian Giant looking to control but Conors is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The Russian Giant tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Conors is trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Russian Giant working the ground and pound effectively.
The Russian Giant tries to control but Conors wriggling away. The Russian Giant landing strikes, looking to finish! The Russian Giant is trying to control here but Conors has managed to regain half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Conors is staying active underneath The Russian Giant, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conors tries to kick The Russian Giant off in order to stand up. The Russian Giant Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Conors is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, The Russian Giant asserts his dominance and retains side control. The Russian Giant landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Conors is not content to let The Russian Giant control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The Russian Giant creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Conors takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The Russian Giant cracks Conors with a big right hand but Conors just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Russian Giant swings around for an armbar but Conors sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into The Russian Giant's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Conors accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The Russian Giant preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Conors working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The Russian Giant is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The Russian Giant is controlling the pace.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Konstantin The Russian Giant dominated that round. That's time! Conors's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The Russian Giant dives in and scores a takedown into Conors's guard. Conors is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and The Russian Giant dives into side control.
Conors is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Conors bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Conors tries for a takedown but The Russian Giant circles away easily and The Russian Giant counters with a series of strikes. Conors will be more careful next time no doubt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Russian Giant shoots in and gets a takedown into Conors's guard. Conors is looking to stand back up but The Russian Giant counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Conors.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Russian Giant content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The Russian Giant stalling away here and it's allowed Conors to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The Russian Giant scoring with some ground and pound. The Russian Giant is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The Russian Giant trying to control the position from guard on top but Conors is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The Russian Giant stands up from guard. Let's bang! The Russian Giant throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Conors shoots and misses and The Russian Giant holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The Russian Giant lands a knee to the head.
The Russian Giant has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The Russian Giant stalling in the clinch.
Conors misses with some punches.
Conors working aggressively here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Russian Giant tries to pull guard but Conors won't allow it.
Conors gets underhooks to prevent The Russian Giant's takedown attempt.
The Russian Giant blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A short right from Conors. The Russian Giant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Conors fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brenon Conors. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Russian Giant closes the distance and lands a one-two. Conors gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows The Russian Giant to score an easy takedown into full guard. The Russian Giant wants to control from the top but Conors keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Russian Giant scoring with punches to the head and body. The Russian Giant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conors swivels though and keeps the full guard. Conors is looking to stand up but The Russian Giant isn't so interested in that idea. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Konstantin The Russian Giant showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Conors's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Conors misses with a takedown attempt and The Russian Giant counters with a right hand to the body. Conors shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and The Russian Giant counters with a crisp one two that drops Conors! The Russian Giant thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Conors to his feet! Conors is in big trouble!
Conors is rocked! Conors tries for a takedown but The Russian Giant circles away easily and The Russian Giant counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Conors falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
