Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!

With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lasha Abashidze!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Death Knell!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Abashidze misses with a takedown attempt - Knell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Knell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Knell counters with a stiff right hand.
Abashidze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Lasha Abashidze will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Abashidze drops his hands momentarily and Knell needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Abashidze just on the top of the head. Abashidze drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Abashidze - he's done!
