Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 24839 p4p, 2636 weight class) and Fernand Duif (ranked 0 p4p, 360 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mariusz Pudzianowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fernand Duif! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Duif misses. An inside leg kick from Pudzianowski misses. Duif looks to land a right hand but Pudzianowski moved out of range. Pudzianowski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mariusz Pudzianowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pudzianowski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Duif finds it's way round the side to connect with Pudzianowski's head.
It looks like Mariusz Pudzianowski has been cut. Duif moves out of range of the leg kick from Pudzianowski. Duif checks a leg kick nicely. It seemed like Duif was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Duif throws a leg kick which misses Pudzianowski's front leg but catches the back leg as Pudzianowski tries to avoid it. Pudzianowski throws a leg kick that misses. Duif scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Duif's coach down at Belmiro Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Duif's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Duif rushes Pudzianowski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Duif lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Duif works on Pudzianowski's body with a couple of short punches. Duif lands a shoulder strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A left hand lands to the body for Duif.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Pudzianowski jumps guard but Duif stands there with Pudzianowski around his waist. Pudzianowski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Duif lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pudzianowski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Duif just stands there and leans against the cage. Duif manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Duif stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Pudzianowski is breathing heavily. Duif lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pudzianowski backwards. Duif gets through Pudzianowski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Duif keeps control of Pudzianowski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Duif lands a hook to the side of the head. Duif lands on the inside with an uppercut. A nice left hand lands by Duif.
Our sources have told us that Pudzianowski has been working on his elbows in the gym. Duif lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Pudzianowski to his knees! Duif keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
