Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Gustafsson (ranked 25 p4p, 30 weight class) and Randy Randleman (ranked 7 p4p, 9 weight class). Randleman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Randy Randleman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Gustafsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Randleman!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randleman looks to score with a jab to the body but Gustafsson is just out of range.
Gustafsson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That's time! Gustafsson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Randleman throws a sloppy head kick and Gustafsson moves out of range easily.
Gustafsson dives in for a single leg takedown but Randleman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Randleman lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Gustafsson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Randleman uses from the top position.

Randleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gustafsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gustafsson has his foot on Randleman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Randleman works his way back into a safe position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
