Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lamar Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Draco Leonidas!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Gordon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Leonidas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gordon.
Gordon keeps the fight on the outside.
Gordon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Leonidas gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gordon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Leonidas blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Leonidas takes a shot to the head.
Gordon throws a punch but it's blocked by Leonidas.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Gordon makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Gordon tries to pull guard but Leonidas holds him up against the ropes and eventually Gordon drops back down to his feet.
Gordon misses with a hook from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gordon as Leonidas tries to tie him up.
Gordon pulls guard effortlessly.
Gordon controls Leonidas momentarily but Leonidas frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Leonidas preventing the sweep.
Gordon wants to hit a sweep here but Leonidas passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gordon there!
Gordon is trying desperately to improve position.
Lamar Gordon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Gordon tries to lock up and control but Leonidas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Leonidas prevents Gordon from getting the reversal.
Gordon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gordon is squirming around, avoiding Leonidas's attempts to control the action.
Gordon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gordon is working hard here to advance position.
Gordon tries to hold on but Leonidas postures up.
Gordon can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Draco Leonidas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lamar Gordon.
I think Gordon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
